Pricing questions
Frequently asked questions
Why do you post your rates when most shops do not?
Because the alternative wastes everyone time. If our rate does not work for your budget or your carrier, you should know that from a web page rather than after towing a 38 foot coach across two counties. Posted rates also make an estimate easier to read, since every line traces back to a number you can see here.
Is the estimate really not free?
Correct. A collision estimate fee applies and is refundable as a credit against an authorized repair. An RV systems estimate is $150 and diagnostic time is $285 per hour with a one hour minimum, both refundable the same way. A real estimate on a laminated structure takes access and time, not a walk around the lot.
What does my insurance company actually pay?
Insurance billed jobs may be billed at carrier negotiated labor rates that differ from the posted retail rates on this page. We tell you which applies to your claim before work begins. Where a carrier rate falls below what the repair requires, that gap is documented rather than absorbed silently.
Why is diagnostics more expensive than mechanical labor?
Diagnostics is $285 per hour because it is scan tool, schematic, and measurement work rather than turning a wrench, and because getting it right is what prevents replacing three parts to fix one fault. It carries a one hour minimum and it is refundable as a credit against an authorized repair, so accurate measurement costs you nothing if you proceed.
Why is there a deposit?
50 percent is due at authorization on any job over $2,000, and an additional 25 percent when parts arrive on jobs over $10,000. Specialty RV and fleet parts are frequently non returnable and often non stocking. The deposit covers committed material, not labor not yet performed.
Do you charge for card payments?
A 3.5 percent surcharge applies to credit card payments over $1,000. That is a pass through of merchant fees on high ticket jobs, not a margin line. Check and other methods carry no surcharge.
Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.
