Specialty and Electric Vehicles Repair
The short answer
Specialty and electric vehicles carry high-voltage systems, aluminum structure, or one-off bodywork that changes the repair procedure entirely. We handle EV body and structural repair, aluminum panel work, ADAS scan and recalibration, and custom fabrication for vehicles with no parts catalog.

How we approach this category
Electric vehicles change the shop procedure before any tool comes out. High-voltage systems have to be isolated and verified before welding or panel work near the battery enclosure, aluminum and high-strength steel structures have joining requirements that differ from mild steel, and battery enclosure geometry is a safety-rated dimension rather than a fit dimension. Add to that the sensor load. Cameras, radar, and ultrasonic sensors mounted in bumpers, mirrors, and windshields all require documented scan and recalibration after the panel that carries them is disturbed, and skipping that step leaves a driver assistance system aimed at the wrong place. Specialty vehicles bring the opposite problem, which is the absence of any procedure at all. Show vehicles, one-off builds, food and service bodies on unusual chassis, and heavily modified units frequently have no parts availability and no published dimensions. Those jobs get solved with fabrication, pattern making, and measurement rather than with a parts order. Southern California conditions still apply. Aluminum bodywork stored in coastal air at Newport Beach or Oceanside corrodes galvanically wherever a steel fastener touches it, and low desert heat in Palm Springs pushes battery thermal systems and adhesives to their limits. We work in shop in Yorba Linda and do not perform engine, drivetrain, or transmission work.
Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.
