Insurance Repair Help for RVs, Vans, Trailers and Fleets

The short answer

OCRV Empire works direct with every major insurance carrier on RV, camper van, trailer, truck, and fleet claims. We disassemble before we finalize scope, write photographed supplements, and handle the negotiation so hidden structural damage actually gets paid for.

01

Why RV and fleet claims go wrong

Most adjusters have never scoped a laminated sidewall. They write from photographs, price it like sheet metal, and the estimate lands at a fraction of what the repair actually takes. That is not usually bad faith. It is a knowledge gap, and the way it gets closed is disassembly plus documentation, not argument.

Our process puts teardown before final scope on every structural job. We open the vehicle, photograph what the impact actually did, and submit a supplement with the evidence attached. Carriers respond to evidence.

Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.

Claim questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work directly with insurance companies?

Yes. We work direct with Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, AAA Enterprises, Mercury, Allstate, American Family, and others. We write the supplement, submit the photographs, and handle the back and forth. Insurance billed jobs may be billed at carrier negotiated labor rates that differ from our posted retail rates, and we tell you which applies before work begins.

My adjuster says the damage is cosmetic. Is it?

Sometimes. Often not. On a laminated sidewall the difference between cosmetic and structural is whether the bond between skin and core is intact, and that cannot be determined from the outside or from photographs. If teardown finds separation, we document it and supplement. That documentation is what moves a carrier position.

Can I choose my own repair shop?

In California you decide where your vehicle is repaired. A carrier can recommend a shop and can decline to pay above a prevailing rate, but the choice of facility is yours. If your carrier is steering you toward a general auto body shop for laminated or fiberglass structural work, that is worth a conversation.

What does an estimate cost?

A collision estimate fee applies and is refundable as a credit against an authorized repair. Call for the current amount. An RV systems estimate covering slides, awnings, water, electrical, or generator is $150, also refundable. Diagnostic time is $285 per hour with a one hour minimum, refundable the same way.

What happens if the carrier will not approve the full repair?

We document what the vehicle actually needs, in photographs, with the reasoning stated. Where a carrier declines a line item you have the option to authorize it yourself, to appeal with our documentation, or to proceed with the approved scope. What we will not do is perform a repair we know will fail and call it complete.

Claim open? Bring the vehicle and the claim number. We handle the rest.
