Commercial and Heavy Vehicles Repair

The short answer

Commercial trucks earn money every day they run, so downtime is the real cost. We repair box trucks, stake beds, utility bodies, and heavy body damage on work vehicles in Yorba Linda, including structural welding, panel replacement, corrosion, and fleet refinish with graphics.

How we approach this category

Work vehicles fail differently than recreational vehicles because they are loaded, unloaded, and backed into things every single day by drivers who are paid to move quickly. The damage pattern is repetitive and predictable. Rear door frames rack from being closed against shifted load, roll-up door tracks bind, rear sill and dock bumper areas crush from repeated contact, and body side panels collect long gouges from posts and gates. None of that is dramatic, and all of it compounds until a door will not seal and the cargo box takes water. Structure is the deciding factor on whether a commercial repair is worth doing. A box body is built as a floor deck on crossmembers, aluminum or FRP panels on vertical posts, and a roof bow assembly, and its rigidity depends on those joints staying tight. Once the front bulkhead or the rear frame goes out of square, panels start working against their rivets and the whole box loosens progressively. We straighten and weld structure in shop, replace panels and doors, treat corrosion where salt air out of Long Beach and Wilmington has gotten into the crossmembers, and refinish with fleet graphics reapplied. This shop does not perform engine, drivetrain, transmission, or DOT inspection work.

Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.
