179 cities / 7 counties
Southern California Service Area
The short answer
OCRV Empire serves all of Southern California from one facility in Yorba Linda, covering 179 cities across Orange, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. All work is performed in shop. We do not run mobile or route service.
01
One shop, the whole region
Everything happens at 23281 La Palma Ave in Yorba Linda. That is deliberate. A large format paint booth, the lift capacity for a 40 foot coach, and a structural bay for frame correction are not things that fit in a van. Customers drive here from Oceanside, from Palm Desert, from Lancaster, and from Ventura because the work needs the building.
Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.
02
Six environments, six failure patterns
Southern California is not one climate. Where a vehicle is stored decides what breaks on it, and that is why every city page on this site reads differently.
Coastal / 33 cities
Marine air pushes salt inland every night and none of it rinses off on its own. It settles into seams, fastener heads, hinge pins, and anywhere a coating has already thinned, then works underneath the surface while the vehicle sits.
- Gelcoat oxidation and chalking
- Galvanic corrosion at steel fasteners in aluminum panels
- Butyl shrinkage behind window flanges
Urban basin / 27 cities
Dense traffic, tight surface streets, and constant stop and go. Damage here is overwhelmingly impact damage, and most of it happens at walking speed in places a 34 foot coach was never designed to fit.
- Radial cracking in front and rear fiberglass caps
- Sidewall gouges that open the laminate core
- Roof edge and air conditioner shroud shear
Inland valley / 96 cities
Hot dry summers, cool wet winters, and a daily swing that can cover forty degrees between afternoon and dawn. The swing is the real load, because every material on a coach expands on its own schedule and the joints between them absorb the difference.
- Lap sealant fatigue at every roof penetration
- Slide seal compression set
- Decal edge lift and film fracture
Low desert / 11 cities
Air temperatures above 115 degrees through the summer and roof surfaces far hotter than that. This is the hardest environment in Southern California for a recreational vehicle, and very little on a production coach was engineered with it in mind.
- Membrane chalking, shrinkage, and seam pull
- Adhesive bond failure with no water involved
- Gelcoat and clear coat breakdown
High desert / 9 cities
Elevation stacks additional UV on top of desert heat, and then winter brings hard freezes and hail. Vehicles here take both ends of the range inside the same twelve months, and the materials never get a mild season to recover in.
- Hail denting across roof sheet, caps, and shrouds
- Hail bruising in a membrane roof
- Freeze rupture in fresh water lines and the pump
Mountain / 3 cities
Snow load, deep freeze and thaw, sustained grade, and impact from hail and falling limbs. Mountain vehicles carry structural and chassis stress that a flatland unit of the same age has never experienced.
- Roof structure flex under snow load
- Ice damming at roof edges and terminations
- Slide topper collapse under wet snow

Orange County
Our home county and the shortest haul to the shop. Orange County splits sharply between the coastal cities, where salt air drives corrosion and gelcoat failure, and the inland cities, where heat cycling drives sealant and slide-seal failure. Both halves are dense enough that low-speed impact damage is the most common reason a coach arrives here.

Los Angeles County
The widest range of conditions of any county we serve. It runs from Malibu and Santa Monica on salt air, through the dense basin where collision damage dominates, out to Lancaster and Palmdale in true high desert with hail and freeze exposure. A vehicle from Palmdale and a vehicle from Redondo Beach arrive with almost nothing in common.

San Fernando Valley
A single large inland basin with hot dry summers, a wide daily temperature swing, and heavy Santa Ana wind exposure at the north and west edges. Valley vehicles come in with sealant fatigue and slide-seal compression set more than anything else, plus a reliable spike in awning damage every wind season.

Ventura County
Coastal on the Oxnard and Ventura side, inland valley through Simi and Thousand Oaks, and mountain conditions up toward Ojai. It is the longest regular haul we take, and Ventura customers typically come to us for structural, fiberglass, and paint work their local shops will not take on.
07 / 25 cities
Riverside County
Split between the inland valley cities along the 91 and 15 corridors and the Coachella Valley desert cities. The desert half is the harshest environment we serve. Roof membranes, adhesives, and rooftop air conditioning fail there on a completely different schedule than they do anywhere else in the region.

San Bernardino County
The largest county in the country by area, and it shows in the range. Inland valley through Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, mountain conditions at Big Bear, and high desert from Hesperia to Barstow and Twentynine Palms. Hail claims and freeze damage out of the high desert and the mountains are a steady part of our work.

San Diego County
Coastal from Oceanside to Imperial Beach with heavy salt exposure, and inland valley through Escondido, El Cajon, and Poway. San Diego customers make the drive for work that needs a large-format paint booth and structural capability, which is a short list of shops south of Los Angeles.

Service area questions
Frequently asked questions
What areas of Southern California do you serve?
All of it. 179 cities across Orange, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties have a page on this site listing their routing and drive time. Customers regularly come from every one of them for specialty structural, fiberglass, and paint work.
Do you come to me?
No. All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility at 23281 La Palma Ave. We do not offer mobile, on-site, or fleet route service. The equipment, lift capacity, and paint booth that this work requires do not travel.
Why does location change the repair?
Because environment decides failure mode. A coach stored in Palm Desert fails from heat and UV. The same coach in Newport Beach fails from salt. In Big Bear it fails from freeze and snow load. Each city page states which band it sits in and what that band actually does to a vehicle.
Is it worth driving two hours to your shop?
That is your call, and it depends on whether the work can be done properly closer. Large format paint, laminated structural repair, riveted shell work, and frame correction on oversized units are a short list of capabilities south of Los Angeles. Customers come from San Diego and the high desert for exactly those.
Wherever you are in Southern California, the work happens in Yorba Linda.
