Roof, Slide and Awning Services
The short answer
Roof, slide, and awning work covers membrane recoat and full replacement, hail damage, vents and skylights, slide-out mechanisms and seals, slide toppers, and awning fabric, arms, and motors. Roof work runs $250 for a vent to $18,000 and up for a full membrane replacement.

How this category works
Almost every serious interior problem on an RV started as a roof or seal problem. Water finds the smallest opening at a penetration, travels laterally between the membrane and the decking, and shows up as a stain three feet from where it entered. By the time the stain appears, the decking is already compromised. The same logic applies to slides, which are just a large moving penetration in the sidewall.
