Chassis and Running Gear Services

The short answer

Chassis and running gear covers leveling systems, air bag and leaf suspension, axles, electric and hydraulic brakes, wheel bearings and hubs, tires, hitches and couplers, and entry steps. Work runs $250 for a bearing repack to $6,500 and up for a full suspension rebuild.

01

How this category works

Running gear is the part of a trailer or coach that gets the least attention and strands the most people. Bearings, brake magnets, and suspension bushings all wear on a schedule set by load and heat, not by mileage, and Southern California grade plus summer heat pushes that schedule faster than the manufacturer interval assumes.

Posted labor rate for this category: Mechanical and electrical, $260/hr.

Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.
