Coffee is a morning business, so we take beverage units in on afternoon drop-off and work around the rush rather than through it. Espresso machine weight and vibration, the water heater and plumbing, and a heavily loaded inverter are what actually break on these builds, and the exterior finish is your storefront.

What we see from this customer
A beverage trailer or truck makes most of its money between six and ten in the morning. That changes how we schedule. Dropping off in the afternoon and picking up before the next morning service is realistic on small work, and on larger work it means we plan the teardown so the unit is not sitting mid-disassembly through a weekend it could have been earning. We would rather hold your appointment for four days and do the job in one continuous run than take the vehicle in on day one and start on day six.
The mechanical reality of these builds is that a two group espresso machine is a heavy, hot, plumbed appliance bolted to a vehicle that flexes. The mounting is where it fails. Vibration works fasteners loose, the loose mount lets the machine rock, and the rocking cracks the countertop substrate or the water line fitting behind it. Then the leak runs down inside the cabinet and into the floor where nobody looks. Draw is the other half. A machine and a water heater together will pull an inverter and a battery bank down hard, and the symptom shows up as a generator that cannot keep up.
Most of these units were built by a small outfit that took a deposit and a cargo trailer and figured it out, and a good share of those builders are no longer in business. There is no wiring diagram and no plumbing schematic. We produce one during disassembly because we need it to put the unit back, and you keep it. The exterior is the thing people underestimate. A custom finish with hand lettering is a storefront sign, and matching it after a panel replacement is color match under multiple light sources and a blend into adjacent panels, not the closest color in a can.

We schedule afternoon intake and sequence the work in one continuous block rather than parking the unit between operations. On small collision and refinish work that can mean losing zero mornings. On a job that has to open a wall it will not, and you hear which one you have before you commit the vehicle.
Concern 02
The espresso machine mount has worked loose and the counter is cracking
Rebuild the mounting, not the counter. We anchor into structure with a load path that accounts for a machine weighing as much as a person and a road that never stops shaking it. Then the counter substrate gets rebuilt, because the crack was the symptom and it comes right back if the mount does not change.

There is a water leak somewhere behind the cabinets
It almost never came in where you found it. Water tracks along the floor or between wall layers to the low corner, so we meter the whole unit and trace it back to the fitting or seam that actually failed. Repairing the wet spot without finding the source means doing this again next quarter.
Concern 04
The inverter and generator cannot keep up with the machine and the heater
That is usually cable, connection and battery capacity rather than a failed generator. Long undersized runs and corroded grounds drop voltage under load, and a heater plus a machine is exactly the load that exposes it. We test under real draw and correct the system instead of selling you a bigger generator.

The person who built the trailer is out of business
We document the build as we take it apart: line routes, wire gauges, breaker assignments and mounting details, photographed and dimensioned. You get that file back with the unit. It is also what turns a vague equipment line on your claim into an itemized one an adjuster can actually approve.

Color match is done against the actual panel under multiple light sources and blended into adjacent panels so the transition disappears. Hand lettering and multi-color schemes are reproduced in paint, which outlasts vinyl in inland Southern California sun and is often the only way to match an original that was never a decal.

Frequently asked questions
Can you work on my coffee trailer without shutting me down for a week?
Sometimes. Small collision and refinish work can go in after the morning rush and come out before the next one when it is scoped and the parts are already here. Structural work, plumbing behind cabinets or anything that opens a wall cannot. We scope it first and give you the honest answer, because a coffee operator who loses an unexpected Saturday morning loses the week.
The espresso machine keeps loosening from the counter. What is the real fix?
The counter is not the problem. A two group machine is a heavy mass on a vehicle that flexes at every driveway apron, and if it is anchored into cabinetry instead of structure the fasteners will keep backing out. We build a mount that ties into the floor or wall framing, then repair the substrate that the rocking already cracked.
My generator seems too small for the machine. Should I upgrade it?
Check the wiring before you buy anything. Most cases we see are voltage drop on undersized cable, a corroded ground, or a battery bank that has lost capacity, and the generator takes the blame for a distribution problem. We measure under actual load with the machine and the heater running. If it is genuinely undersized after that, at least you are buying the right answer.
Can you match my custom paint and lettering?
Yes. We match against the actual panel under multiple light sources and blend into the adjacent panels rather than taping a hard edge at the seam. Hand lettering and multi-color schemes are reproduced in paint. In Riverside and Corona sun that holds up substantially better than vinyl, and on an original that was painted it is the only way to make the seam disappear.
Does insurance cover the equipment inside the trailer?
Impact and event damage to the build is generally claimable when it is itemized and photographed. Gradual failure such as a fitting that has been weeping is generally not. The difference on a beverage build is documentation. We photograph the machine mounting, the plumbing and the electrical during teardown so the equipment lines are supported rather than argued about later.
