Commercial and Business Fleets
Fleet Operators and Managers
The short answer
Fleet work here is priced and documented per unit so it drops into your maintenance system without rekeying. We consolidate multiple units into planned shop visits, hold your color and graphics standard on file, and separate capital improvements from expense repairs on the estimate. All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility.

What we see from this customer
The number that matters to a fleet manager is not the invoice, it is cost per unit per day of downtime. A van that generates four hundred dollars a day of billable work is a different decision than a spare that sits. So the first question we ask on a fleet intake is which units are in rotation and which are spares, because that determines what we do first and what we batch. If you run a spare, we would rather take the in-rotation unit while the spare covers the route and then swap.
Mixed fleets are the hard part. A single company will run Transits from three model years, a pair of box trucks, and two older cargo vans, and the white is not the same white across any of them. We record a sprayed and verified formula per unit and per model year, so when a fender gets replaced two years from now the panel matches the truck rather than matching the paint code. Same with graphics. Most fleet vinyl is reprintable, but the die line and the placement dimensions have to be recorded or the second install sits an inch off.
On paperwork, we write fleet estimates so the line items break into what your accounting treats as expense and what it treats as capital. A dented quarter panel repaired is expense. A shelving package or a lift gate added is a capital improvement, and mixing the two on one line makes your controller do the split by hand. Ask for the per unit summary format and you will get one document per VIN. We do not run a route. Units come to Yorba Linda, and we can take them in staged groups so you never have more than one or two out at once.
Location: All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. We do not offer mobile, roadside, or fleet route service.

What you are worried about, and the answer
Concern 01
Nobody can tell me what a repair costs per unit, so I cannot forecast a maintenance budget
We price at posted rates and break every estimate into hours, parts and materials per VIN. Body and paint labor is $210 per hour, mechanical and electrical is $260 per hour, body supplies are $5 per body hour and paint supplies are $55 per paint hour. Once you have three or four of those documents you can build a real cost per unit average for your own fleet mix.
Concern 02
Shops want the whole fleet at once and I cannot pull that many units out of service
We stage. Tell us which units are in rotation and which are spares, and we sequence so you are never down more than the number you tell us you can absorb. Long lead parts get ordered against a unit that is still working, and the unit comes in when the parts land rather than sitting here waiting for them.
Concern 03
Repairs come back in different shades and the fleet stops looking like one company
Color is recorded per unit, not per paint code. We spray a card, verify it against the actual panel under multiple light sources, and file the formula with the VIN. On graphics we record die lines and placement dimensions from the existing install so a reprint lands in the same place, which is where most fleet vinyl reinstalls go wrong.
Concern 04
Estimates arrive as a single number and my accounting team has to guess at the capital and expense split
Ask for the capital and expense split at intake and it will be written that way. Damage repair, refinish and corrosion work land on one section. Added equipment such as racking, a lift gate, a service body or a lighting package lands on another. Both are on the same document so you have one file per unit, but your controller does not have to unpick them.
Concern 05
I need a document format I can drop straight into our maintenance management system
You get a per unit summary with VIN, unit number if you give us one, date in and date out, labor hours by category, parts with line detail, and totals. If your system needs a specific field or a purchase order number carried on every line, tell us at intake and it goes on. This is a formatting request, not a special project.
Concern 06
Somebody is going to tell me they will service the fleet at our yard and then not show up
Not from us. We are in-shop only at Yorba Linda. No route service, no work performed at your yard or on a job site. That is a real constraint and it should factor into how you plan, which is why we say it before you ask rather than after you have built a schedule around it.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer fleet pricing or a volume discount?
Our posted rates are the posted rates. Where a fleet actually saves money is in consolidation and sequencing: parts ordered ahead against a unit still in service, several units run through on a planned schedule instead of as emergencies, and color and graphics records that stop us from re-solving the same match problem every time. That is a real cost reduction. A lower hourly number is not what we sell.
Can you service our fleet at our yard?
No. Everything is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. There is no route service and no work at your location. For a fleet manager this is the single most important scheduling fact about us, because it means transport time is part of every job. Plan drives in and out around your rotation, and stage units rather than sending them all at once.
Do you perform DOT inspections on fleet vehicles?
No. We do not perform DOT inspections, and we do not do engine, drivetrain or transmission work. What we do handle is DOT reflective tape and conspicuity marking, which is a marking and compliance item rather than an inspection. Body, structure, paint, corrosion, lighting installation, racking and cargo body work are all in scope. Keep your inspection provider and use us for the body side.
Can you match our fleet color across different model years?
Yes, and this is where fleets usually get burned. Factory white on a 2019 chassis and a 2024 chassis of the same make are frequently different formulas, and both have shifted from UV exposure since. We match to the panel in front of us, blend into adjacent panels, and record the formula against that VIN so the next repair on that truck is not a fresh guess.
How do deposits work on a multi-unit job?
Deposits are per job, not per fleet. Jobs over $2,000 take a 50 percent deposit, with a further 25 percent due at parts arrival. Card payments over $1,000 carry a 3.5 percent surcharge, so on a multi-unit program most fleets pay by check or transfer. Sales tax is 7.75 percent and hazmat disposal is a flat $45 where it applies.
